Mother nature has finally decided to bless us with some warmer temperatures--thankfully--and everything's coming up roses. Ted Baker London( www.tedbaker.com) has released new arrivals for the season, and I am over the moon excited about, well the entire collection. That would be past, present and future. Florals, ruffles, buttons and sweet bows, Ted Baker doesn't disappoint when it comes to decadent dressing. Trust, if I could purchase everything in this collection, I would joyfully shop the website clean!! Here are my picks. Enjoy ;0
I love the Kentucky Derby, I mean really who doesn't--the history, the horses, the HATS--and no I've never actually been, yet. There are many accessories that come to mind when you think "Derby" but only at the races is the headdress you don is the main event. Everything else can be overlooked, but if you're not wearing a beautiful headpiece, I 'm not sure that fashion sin is forgivable--at least not in my book. Even though I won't be at the races myself, I will have my own little celebration, mint julep, fascinator and all. Here's some lovely and very affordable pieces, in case you're still looking. Have fun and if you make it to the track, drop a line, and post a pic. -Angel

There's no question that natural hair demands special care and attention. I've written about my own struggles recently, as my autoimmune disorder and out of whack hormones have done a real job on my normally healthy hair. One major change I've noticed over the past few months is the lack of oil my hair produces. I never needed to shampoo daily--as most curlies don't--but twice a week was good for me, until now.
I'm not sure of the exactly cause but the lack of oil has certainly caused a dry, and itchy scalp that drives me up the wall and has caused some rather unpleasant shedding. Over a year ago Deity( www.deityusa.com) sent me some products to help with shedding, when I was going through a stressful life cycle and lost some hair. One of the products I used then, and have since been using again is the Nourishing & Repairing Scalp Serum. Prior to this dry spell I seem to be experiencing, I normally opted for lightweight cream moisturizers--especially in summer--but this phase requires intense treatment and the oil in this little bottle has become my new addiction.
Comprised of natural plant extracts, Deity's Nourishing Scalp serum isn't just hype, but truly healing in a bottle. Sometimes natural oils in their most pure form can be too heavy. When oil doesn't permeate the hair shaft, hair will become brittle dull and dry. Deity's infusion of Chinese herbs, and lightweight formula is especially helpful for low-porosity hair. Nourishing & moisturizing without being overly oily--and the dropper makes applying super convenient. My shedding has not stopped just yet, but it is certainly getting better, and I really believe Deity's Scalp Serum( and Shampoo) has a lot to do with that. Hard to believe , but it's almost Mother's day once again. I believe mother's are earth bound angels, and I am so very grateful for mine. There really isn't anything material gift I could give my Noni to express how much she means to me, and to say thank you for all she has done, but who better to help in that department than the legendary Swarovski. Delicate, simple and sweet is how I would describe this collection. A little sparkle and shine to say thank you and brighten mom's day. Stop by your local Swarovski retailer or visit them at (www.swarovski.com) Have a look. ;0
THE wedding of 2018 is just around the corner and I am so over the moon excited!!!--and no, it's not my wedding(yet). Of course I'm talking about the beautiful Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. I have such vivid memories of awakening far too early, to watch Princess Diana say I do to Prince Charles, and now her baby boy. Absolutely awesome!!
I am in royal wedding overdrive, gathering all my garb for my front row seat--on the sofa--and yes, that includes my tiara. We are all queens in our own right, and just because we weren't invited (oversights happen), doesn't mean we have to be any less fabulous on the day of celebration. It will be early morning in the U.S. when the nuptials take place, so a hot cup of tea will definitely be needed. I've made my list and checking it twice. So far, so good.
