The Easter holiday is in about 48 hours and many--myself included have not put the final touches on Easter dinner. Ugh!! It's astounding how the time has flown and how much more needs to be done with so little time to spare! Deep breaths--I have the solution--Honey Baked Hams. Yes darlings, the Honey Baked Ham company is my holiday feast life support. With extended holiday hours, and offering so much more than spiraled, sugared, sweetness(which I do enjoy) Honey Baked provides a vast array of decadent dishes that require little to absolutely zero prep. The pot roast---A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! Better than Nana's--sorry Nana.
Over the years, I'm pretty sure I've tried everything they have at least twice. With fresh, seasoned to perfection meats, succulent side dishes and delicious desserts, save yourself the hassle and add a little Honey Baked to your table this holiday. Famous last words by fragrance connoisseur Coco Chanel herself. I wouldn't say your life is , well doomed if you opt not to wear fragrance, I will say it boggles my mind and may make your days a little less enchanting.
A girly, girl through and through--I just cannot imagine any part of my day without perfume. Beautiful scents are absolutely intoxicating. I have so many favorites, I can't even say that I have just one favorite or "signature" scent. What I can tell you is these are some of my favorite fragrances for spring. Like the perfect melody, they all have different base and middle notes that compliment each other beautifully. Have a look.
I just received my April issue of Marie Claire magazine and was delighted to find a feature on a candidate I not only trust, but believe can bring about real change--Minority Leader Stacey Abrams. If you follow my Twitter feed or the older version of this website, this comes as no surprise. Senior writer Kayla Webley Adler (@KaylaWebley) interviewed Ms. Abrams and the accompanying article classifies as a MUST read for those questioning or doubting. I haven't been as active in this campaign as I would like, primarily due to health reasons, but digitally--any and every chance I get, I am certainly trying to bring awareness. **Side note** my gracious this is the interview I wish I had done, but kudos Kayla--great piece. ;0
I didn't link the article and I won;t give it all away, but Kayla hits on many pressing points with this interview, such as how a well known Romance writer parlays that skill set into politics. Ironically a question I've received on Twitter more than once. If you for some odd reason are still unfamiliar with the candidate I want to see as my next Governor, I think this article will give you some very pointed insight into all that Stacey Abrams stands for and has had to stand against. Her climb certainly hasn't been easy and is not for the faint of heart.
If you haven't picked up your April issue of Marie Claire or yet received it, note the interview can be found on page 105--you're welcome. As for this book? The rhyme and reason behind it can be found within Kayla's interview, but you can pre-order your copy (as I am) from my lovely friends at Amazon. Spring has sprung--at least on the calendar--and a new bag or two are an absolute must. One of my long time favorites has just released a festive, fiesta of colorful bags, to complete or compliment any outfit. Impeccable craftsmanship, function, form and oh so fun. Have a look!
Harry and Meghan or H&M as I call them, are no doubt the most chic and SoCal cool couple the monarchy has ever seen. Their visit in the town of Belfast was considered "official" yet unannounced. I would imagine for safety reasons. A visit peppered with a dose of charity-visiting the Eikon Center--and a dash of fun-- touring the renowned Crown Liquor Saloon. The lovely couple looked radiant and red carpet ready per usual. The soon to be Princess donned a breathtaking oatmeal colored coat by Mackage, cream sweater and a forest green peplum skirt--and we cannot forget her now classic messy bun.
